Positive feedback drives better service

All businesses know that well intentioned criticism can be very valuable in stopping bad practice and highlighting where change is needed. But it is a known fact that negative feedback doesn't drive people to do their best. Only positive feedback motivates people to do what they are doing well with more desire and energy. 

CarillionAmey has had its fair share of negative feedback over the past 18 months, and, we've had some positive feedback.  Not surprisingly any positive feedback has tended to get lost because we were not delivering all of our service effectively.  Now that our improvement plans are more established and our service is starting to get better we are beginning to receive more positive feedback. This is really welcome because it tells us that our hard work and determination to make our contracts work is really starting to show and is beginning to have a positive effect on the lives of our Armed Forces and their families, the people we are here to serve.    

We'd love to hear from you if you have any feedback about our service, good or bad because it helps us make any necessary improvements or to know that we have got it right and to take pride in a job well done aiming to deliver an even better service next time.
