CarillionAmey’s occupancy services team

The work done by CarillionAmey's occupancy services team

Since CarillionAmey took over the management of occupancy services almost a year and a half ago, the team is busy supporting Service families moving in or out of their accommodation. Much of our work revolves around managing the timing of families moving in an out, ordering furniture and identifying and resolving issues in houses. However, there's a really important people aspect to our work that goes on quietly behind the scenes but that is essential to taking care of Service families who may be going through a difficult time or may be in a vulnerable situation.

Families' needs vary widely so we need to take a flexible, caring approach. For example, some families may be going through a bereavement, have a disabled child, have a child who needs specialist schooling or have a family member with specialist healthcare needs. That's why we work closely with unit welfare officers and station support and with their guidance and support, we're better able to make the right housing decisions for families.

We are proud of the important work that our occupancy services team offers to families. To learn more about the work of the team or if you need help from us, please contact us on 0800 707 6000 Option 3.
